Hello
I'm Andrea, I'm new in the forum....I have this problem

I'm trying to get working a task sequence to install windows 11 22h2. Clean install, not upgrade.
First I updated sccm to latest 2207 version and patches
windows理应比我更新到最新版本10.1.22621.1 and the relative windows PE add on. I reloaded boot images in sccm with new adk updates.
I added the windows 11 22h2 (november 2022 update) in the operative system images.
Loading the new windows PE from pxe is working well. I'm using HP EliteBook 840 G8 that support windows 11 22H2.
The task start and work well: it install all drivers and do all phases in the task (bitlocker, domain joining etc).
It comes the last reboot, when usually i have the login page. Instead I have this error message. (see attached image)
No way to get the operative system working; if i press "next", after some time, the pc loop in this window.
I can ping pc, I can enter in the admin share and I can view the event viewer remotely.
I tried to clean the task to get only the needful phases in the task, without success.

The task is working well only with windows 11 21h2 (november 2022 update)....I suppose the problem is in the 22h2 image.
Obviously I try to re-download and re-upload the 22h2 wim, without success

Anyone have a suggestion?

We found a solution
In your task sequence add "Run command line" actions. I create one action for every command. Not sure if it works adding all command to an action
Changing these reg, we are going to force disable out of the box experience.
Add them at the end of all actions in the task, before enabling bitlocker

cmd / c reg添加“HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ System \设置”/t REG_DWORD /v OOBEInProgress /d 0 /f

cmd / c reg添加“HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ System \设置”/t REG_DWORD /v OOBEInProgressDriverUpdatesPostponed /d 0 /f

cmd / c reg添加“HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ System \设置”/t REG_DWORD /v SetupPhase /d 0 /f

cmd / c reg添加“HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ System \设置”/t REG_DWORD /v SetupType /d 0 /f

cmd / c reg添加“HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ System \设置”/t REG_SZ /v CmdLine /f

I will try this today. Thank you.

Hello,
I had a similar case with Windows 10 build 21H2 when I tried to update to the last version, after adding some steps on the unattended file the problem was solved.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/a...em-to-setup-different-language-during-the-scc
I hope this can help you, now I have issues with Windows 11 Build 22H2.8, problems with the LP who doesn't work correctly when I use Dism offline, or during the windows updates it breaks the task sequence, it never works espected....

I did more experimentation with my task sequence. I was manage to see the event viewer (used Right Click tool in SCCM > manage computer) and found ton of APPX error (Error: The package deployment operation is blocked by policy. Please contact your system administrator. EVENT ID 10). But we have no appx blocking policy.
So, to test I removed all regs add from above solution. I added below reg.
Code:
reg add HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Appx /v AllowDeploymentInSpecialProfiles /t REG_DWORD /d 1

My test machine was able to come to the login screen and I had no error. But now my START MENU doen't work. and Still have those (Error: The package deployment operation is blocked by policy. Please contact your system administrator.)

Back to more testing.. and I am now hitting wall.

I have fixed the issue by removing all but essentials GPO from the OU where my newly imaged PC auto join to domain. There was the app control GPO. All is working normally. Hope this help solve someone's future issue.

P.S: removed all reg edit modification from the Task Sequence.

check the OU GPOs where the domain join place new imaged computer. Block inheritance then see if it works? if it work without any gpo and start to narrow it down to which GPO is stopping the app install.

Also this reg setting make you let you login but no start menu :reg add HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Appx /v AllowDeploymentInSpecialProfiles /t REG_DWORD /d 1
